The feature enables the user to export and import the App from one App group to another and from one Server instance to another.

• The export function will extract all the underlying entities of an App into a ’Zip’ file. The import function can import the zip file into another App.
• While importing, two options are provided to the user. One is to import the entire App, and the other is to do a Custom import.
• Custom import facility is to import specific objects from an App to another App using Import Wizard. Wizard provides the option to the user whether to overwrite the objects or not for the existing entities.
• All the tasks and their related objects get selected automatically in their respective tabs and imported accordingly.
• The presentations and user roles must be selected independently and has no dependency on the tasks.
• Provision for Table and its inner table migration with column addition, rename, and deletion. Change in the column’s data type is not allowed. Only the structure of the datasets will be migrated and not the data.
• Import process will generate a summary report in text file format. The summary report contains the details of the objects that got imported, not imported, and overwritten along with the count.
