Types of Administrators

There are two types of Administrators in JIFFY.ai:

• Root Admin
• Tenant Admin

Refer to the Multitenancy Architecture section for a brief overview of Tenant and Root Admins.

Root Admin Capabilities

The Root Admin is a role that gets created in the application during the installation of JIFFY.ai and has the following capabilities:

• Perform Root Admin server settings.
• Create multiple Tenants and the very first Tenant Admin for each tenant.
• De-activate or delete tenants based on the requirement.
• There can be more than one Root Admins in the system. A new Root Admin can be added by using API definitions when required.

Tenant Admin Capabilities

The Tenant Admin is a role that is created by the Root Admin and has the following capabilities:

• View all the Apps by default.
• Create up to 10 App categories.
• Create Apps.
• Add new users by sending an email invite.
• Manage existing users.
• Perform License settings.
• Perform Tenant related Server settings.
• Manage Bots.

By default, Tenant Admin is a designer.
