Use this function to archive a conversation in the slack application.

Syntax

Archive Conversation (token, channel_id)

Parameters

Input Parameter Name Description
token Authentication token
channel_id ID of the channel to be archived

Returns

Return Value Description
Output
  • On Success: 1, Conversation Archived Successfully
  • On Failure: 0, Error Message

Sample

Archive Conversation (ABCDE, NC-45)

  • Uses the token ‘ABCDCEF’ to authenticate the connection to the Slack application, archives a channel with ID ‘NC-45’.
    Returns ‘Conversation Archived Successfully’ on archiving the channel.
