Jiffy Cognitive Server Installation

This section contains information on how to install and run cognitive server on a Linux environment. Refer to the Infrastructure requirements of JIFFY.ai Cognitive server for all software and hardware pre-requisites.

The mount point between Core and Cognitive server must be configured.

Pre-installation checklist

  1. Refer the Infrastructure Requirement section for the prerequisites for and connectivity requirements.
  2. Download the Installation files /tmp in the cognitive server.
  3. Check if the Certificates for cognitive server are available.
  4. Disable Selinux.
  5. Shared mountpoint with Jiffy core server should be available.

Cognitive Server - Installation Steps

Root Installer

Run the following commands as a root user.

  • **cd /tmp**
  • **tar -xvf cognitive-installer.tar.gz**
  • **chmod a+x jiffy-cognitive-root.sh**
  • **./jiffy-cognitive-root.sh**

Provide the following inputs when prompted: 1. Installation mountpoint 2. Jiffy Linux Username 3. Linux Groupname Jiffy Linux Username 4. Home Directory of the Jiffy Linux Username
