Azure’s Computer Vision service provides developers with access to advanced algorithms that process images and return information, depending on the visual features required.

Prerequisities

  1. Create a Microsoft azure account.

  2. Create a new azure cognitive services resources for computer vision and face.

  3. Install the required packages to execute the MSVision functions. If packages are already installed, ignore this step.

    Below are the steps to install the packages in client machine:

    1. Change the directory to C:\jiffyservice\precompile\connector\requirements.

    2. Execute the following command in the windows command prompt.

      pip install -r msvision.txt –user

Designing A Task Using MSVision Node

  1. In the Task Design screen, click on the << icon to expand the Nodes section.

  2. Drag and drop the MSVision node from the Connector Nodes section and connect the node with the Start and End nodes respectively.

  3. Double-click on the MSVision node to display the Attributes pane. Image description

  4. The following options are available in the Actions tab:

    1. MSVision Function: When the user selects the MSVision Function option, pre-defined MSVision functions are available in the list box following it. Read about MSVision Functions to know more.

    2. Custom MSVision Function: JIFFY.ai provides a feature to allow users to create their own custom MSVision Functions as required.

    3. Set Variable: The user can set a variable inside the MSVision node. The value to be set can either be a constant or another variable. If this variable is set as an output variable in the Properties tab, it can be made available for other nodes as well.

    4. Predefined Function: These are JIFFY.ai provided python functions for the commonly used functions. Read about Predefined Functions to know more.

    5. User defined Function: JIFFY.ai provides a feature to allow users to create custom python functions and use them in the Actions tab. Read about User Defined Functions to know more.

  5. Choose the required option in the drop-down and select the required function in the Actions tab.

    Get Local Image Colors(123456abcs, https: //jiffyai.azure, C:\Invoice.jpg).

  6. Click on the icon beside the selected function name and specify the required input parameters.

  7. Click on the Properties tab and provide the required details. Image description

  8. Save the task and then click on the Trial run icon to execute the task.

  9. Click on the MSVision node and then click on the Result icon to view the Result of execution.

  10. The dominant color of the local image are fetched. Image description
