Twilio is a developer platform for communications. Twilio APIs allow the user to add capabilities like voice, video, and messaging to their applications.

Prerequisities

1. Create an account in the Twilio application.

2. ACCOUNT SID and AUTH TOKEN are found in the Twilio console.

3. Install the required packages to execute the Twilio Functions. If packages are already installed, ignore this step.

   Below are the steps to install the packages in client machine:

   1. Change the directory to C:/jiffyservice/precompile/connector/requirements.

   2. Execute the following command in the windows command prompt.

      pip install -r twilio.txt –user

Designing A Task Using Twilio Node

1. In the Task Design screen, click on the << icon to expand the Nodes section.

2. Drag and drop the Twilio node from the Connector Nodes section and connect the node with the Start and End nodes respectively.

3. Double-click on the Twilio node to display the Attributes pane.

4. The following options are available in the Actions tab:

   1. Twilio Function: When the user selects the Twilio Function option, pre-defined Twilio Functions are available in the list box following it. Read about Twilio Functions to know more.

   2. Custom Twilio Function: JIFFY.ai provides a feature to allow users to create their own custom salesforce Functions as required.

   3. Set Variable: The user can set a variable inside the twilio node. The value to be set can either be a constant or another variable. If this variable is set as an output variable in the Properties tab, it can be made available for other nodes as well.

   4. Predefined Function: These are JIFFY.ai provided python functions for the commonly used functions. Read about Predefined Functions to know more.

   5. User defined Function: JIFFY.ai provides a feature to allow users to create custom python functions and use them in the Actions tab. Read about User Defined Functions to know more.

5. Choose the required option in the drop-down and select the required function in the Actions tab.

   Send WhatsApp Message (NC-45, ABCDCEF, 1234567890, 0987654321, Hi all just testing)

6. Click on the ≡ icon beside the selected function name and specify the required input parameters.

7. Click on the Properties tab and provide the required details.

8. Click on the Save icon and then click on the Trail run icon in the task design screen.

9. Click on the Twilio node and then click on the Result icon to view the Result of execution.

10. A message ‘Hi all just testing’ is sent.
